Neuschwanstein ~ Fussen (Germany)~ Day 1

14 May 2011

The most dangerous and adventurous trip that I had ever experience in my life! At first, I thought, riding a motor bike in thailand is the most dangerous thing I have ever done, haha..but i did a even more dangerous thing!...but the funny thing is..i am not scared at all! hmm...weird arh?

So you will all be wondering what have I done?...haha..and the mystery is revealed..we climb up a mountain..it was raining by the way and the wind is sooo strong...the sound is scary though...and do u know why we climb up the mountain? just to take a beautiful picture of the castle NEUSCHWANSTEIN! WE climb really high!, unaided somemore...without the proper gear or clothing!...the sad thing is!...my camera died before we climb up the moutain! so I cannot get to take the breath-taking view of the castle and the moutain that we climb!...sadded...
That is the mountain (behind the castle) that we had climbed in the rain and braving through the strong wind! We decided to climb that mountain...despite objections from wl...haha

Just some beautiful pics in Fussen (my favourite place in Germany)!
The lakes are really beautiful, with a calming effect..it is really serene...we decided to take a boat ride(self ride ~ it is tiring!)
haha..3 handsome guys!..International! I love this pic! =))

After the super tired boat ride..though we looked relax...it is deceiving..haha..we have to paddle the boat ourselves out into the lake...to enjoy the feeling of only being enclosed by mountains and trees, sky and water...next we had to rush for our castle tour by walking intensively for 30min!!! uphill somemore!....

It is a pity we cannot take pictures inside the castle (Neuschwanstein)....
A little history about the castle! This castle belongs to King Ludwig II, he is the king of Bavaria..it is a pity that he died before this castle is complete..he never gets to sleep in his own bedroom at all! His death, till now, is a mystery....
Nevertheless..some more beautiful scenery pics of the castle itself!!...
